Money Tree: A Legacy Rooted in Innovation
The seeds of Money Tree were sown in the 1980s—an era when not a single coin holder or album could be found anywhere in India. At that time, collecting coins was a passion few understood, and accessories for collectors were completely unheard of.
Mr. Kirti, a visionary and pioneer in the Indian numismatic space, saw the gap and tried approaching suppliers across India. But the concept of coin holders, flips, or albums was so alien that most laughed off the idea. Undeterred, Mr. Kirti began importing these essential accessories from Europe, becoming the go-to source for thousands of Indian collectors who relied solely on him for quality storage solutions.
But Europe came with its challenges—high costs, long wait times, and products that simply didn’t suit India’s diverse climate. Albums would warp in humidity, PVC holders would turn brittle in heat, and collectors were left frustrated.
By the early 2000s, he turned to Taiwan, known then for its expertise in plastic and PVC manufacturing. While Taiwan offered affordability, the accessories still couldn’t stand up to India's extreme weather conditions—from the scorching heat of Rajasthan to the damp monsoons of Kerala. The need for a homegrown solution had become undeniable.
And so, in 2010, Money Tree was born.
With a mission to create world-class coin accessories made for India, Mr. Kirti launched Money Tree as the country’s first truly Indian brand for collectors. Every Money Tree product is designed to endure India's harsh and varied weather conditions—dust, heat, humidity, and monsoons included.
Today, Money Tree stands tall as India’s most trusted brand for coin accessories, with a community of over 10,000 collectors and dealers who proudly use our products across the country.
